A new wood burner was fitted in the room once the fireplace was opened up again and cleaned ready for use.
The inside of the fireplace was lined with fire proof board and a new timber mantle piece was fitted before we arrived.
Loose patches of plaster were knocked off, re-plastered and the wall surface primed before skimming
