An all too common sight is brickwork that has been painted, especially in extensions and utility rooms. This whole utility
room was re-plastered before having new units fitted. Most of the walls were boarded to cover pipes and electrics
except for the two walls that had units fitted to them; these were floated and skimmed so that there was a solid surface
to fix to that would take weight
